CONCEALED WEAPON PERMIT CLASSES

WHEN: Saturday or Sunday (First and Third Weekend of Each Month)
             Wednesday Evening (First & Second Week / Third & Fourth Week of Each Month)
             Thursday Morning (First & Second Week / Third & Fourth Week of Each Month)

WHERE:   Diamondback Training Academy (2465 S. Craycroft Road)

Shooting Conducted at:   Southeast Regional Park Shooting Range
                                                       11296 S. Harrison Rd.  (see map on back)

DURATION: 8 Hours (as mandated by the State of Arizona)

  • Saturday and Sunday classes are one day 8 hour classes from 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Wednesday evening classes are two 4 hour classes from 5:30pm – 9:30pm
  • Thursday morning classes are two 4 hour classes from 8:00am – 12:00noon 

BRING TO CLASS:   Pen & Paper, Handgun and 50 Rnds. of Ammunition

DRESS CODE:      No open toed shoes or low cut blouses, shirts, or sweaters. 
This is a “SAFETY” requirement to minimize the risk of hot cartridge brass burning your skin when ejected from pistols.

COURSE CONTENT: Introduces the student to the ethical and legal considerations  and basic practical background required for the use of deadly force. Some of the subjects covered include: firearm and ammunition selection criteria, cleaning and maintenance of firearms, firearms safety, “what if” scenarios, mental conditioning, and Arizona law as it pertains to CCW and the use of deadly force.

               (Course Cost Does Not Include The $60.00 Permit Fee)

Refuse To Be A Victim was developed in 1993 in response to women nationwide who requested crime prevention and personal safety information Today, Refuse To Be A Victim’s life-saving message is carried to hometowns throughout America and abroad by a dedicated group of certified instructors, through publications, and via the Internet. The program directly addresses the goal of promoting public safety and law and order.

  • WHEN: Second Saturday Morning or Second Tuesday Evening of Each Month. You MUST Call To Confirm Class Schedule and to Register for Class.
  • WHERE: Diamondback Training Academy (2465 S. Craycroft Road)
  • DURATION: 3 Hours
                  Saturday: 10:00am to 1:00pm OR Tuesday: 6:00pm to 9:00pm
  • COST: $25.00 Per Person

COURSE CONTENT: The purpose of this seminar is to inform and educate. Topics discussed will include: Mental Preparedness, Physical Security, Home Security, Automobile Security, Out of Town Travel Security, Technology Security, Self Defense Options and Personal Protection.

NRA BASIC PISTOL CLASS

WHEN:   Fourth Saturday of Each Month

Shooting Conducted at:   Southeast Regional Park Shooting Range

DURATION:   Four Hours of Classroom & One Hour of Range Time

BRING TO CLASS:

  • Pen & Paper                                                                                   
  • Handgun and 100 Rnds. of Ammunition
  • If you do not own a firearm please let us know and one will be provided.

DRESS CODE:   No open toed shoes or low cut blouses, shirts, or sweaters.
